Salary: $130,000–$200,000 + bonus

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an Associate Lawyer with a minimum of three years' post-call experience in plaintiff-side personal injury or civil litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer who enjoys managing files, advocating for clients, and working alongside an experienced litigation team.

Key Responsibilities

Manage plaintiff personal injury files from intake through resolution
Conduct examinations for discovery, mediations, and court appearances
Draft pleadings, applications, briefs, and other litigation materials
Provide strategic legal advice and maintain ongoing client communication
Collaborate with lawyers, paralegals, legal assistants, medical experts, and opposing counsel
Develop litigation strategies and negotiate settlements where appropriate

Qualifications

Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia
Minimum 3 years of post-call experience in plaintiff personal injury or civil litigation
Strong advocacy, negotiation, and legal drafting skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Professional, compassionate, and client-focused approach
Ability to manage a busy caseload while maintaining exceptional attention to detail

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $130,000–$200,000, depending on experience
