Dishwasher

Blueblood Steakhouse at Casa Loma are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment during evening hours. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and food service operations, with a focus on sanitation and safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a busy restaurant or hospitality setting, ensuring smooth food preparation and service.

Responsibilities:

Operate an industrial dishwasher
Sort, stack dishes, and load/unload dishwasher
Sort, stack and store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner
Ensure all breakages and chipped items are removed from circulation and inventoried
Ensure floors are dry and clean at all times
Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
This is a physical job, heavy lifting
Other duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications:

Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments preferred
Ability to operate dishwashing machinery and manual cleaning tools effectively
Must be able to perform under pressure
Must be able to handle a hot working environment
Ability to work efficiently during night shifts in a fast-paced environment
Must be legally able to work in Canada
