Step into a role where your expertise in utilities will shape some of the most impactful rail and transit infrastructure projects in the Greater Toronto Area. As a Senior Project Manager – Utilities, you will guide complex projects from planning through execution, ensuring critical utility coordination is delivered efficiently, safely, and with lasting impact on the communities we serve.

Your Impact

Manage utility investigations, relocations, and protection strategies from concept through construction

-

Coordinate closely with utility owners and third‑party agencies (hydro, gas, telecom, municipalities) to align project delivery

-

Identify and mitigate risks related to utility conflicts, ensuring minimal disruption to project scope, schedule, and cost

-

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate utilities solutions into broader project designs

-

Review utility designs and ensure alignment with client standards, codes, and regulatory requirements

-

Develop strategies for utility relocations, including contract packaging and delivery approaches

-

Mentor junior team members and contribute to building strong internal capability in utilities management

The Skills That Set You Apart

-

University degree or college diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline

-

Minimum 8 years of experience in utilities investigation, coordination, or design on large infrastructure projects

-

Proven experience managing utilities during the construction phase of projects

-

Strong knowledge of Ontario regulations, codes, and frameworks for utilities and civil infrastructure

-

Experience working with agencies such as MTO, Metrolinx, TTC, and municipal stakeholders

-

Demonstrated ability to interpret and review complex design drawings across disciplines

-

Experience developing Utility Conflict Plans, matrices, and relocation strategies

Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills within complex project environments

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $104,100 – $138,000
MB & ON: $95,000 – $130,800
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $94,100 – $124,900
