The Opportunity

Leavitt Machinery is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Credit Operations AssistantinCoquitlam, British Columbia to join our team for a 6-month contract. Reporting to the Credit & Accounts Receivable team, this role will provide administrative support across a variety of credit and customer account functions. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to credit, collections, customer service, and business operations while contributing to day-to-day departmental activities and special projects.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Credit Operations Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Updating and maintaining customer account information and records
  • Conducting customer outreach by phone and email to support account maintenance activities
  • Assisting with invoice copy requests and documentation management
  • Performing data entry, record updates, and data cleanup activities
  • Supporting departmental projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Escalating customer concerns or issues requiring further review
  • Assisting with customer portal administration and account maintenance
  • Providing general administrative support to the Credit & Accounts Receivable team
  • Completing other duties and special projects as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable communicating with customers by phone and email
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong customer service skills and a professional approach to communication
  • Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

The hourly pay range for this role is: $20.00 to $25.00, depending on experience.

This is an onsite role based in Coquitlam, British Columbia.
