Lead Quality Engineer

Job Overview:

The Lead Quality Engineer will support manufacturing operations and quality engineering initiatives within an aerospace environment. The candidate will drive root cause and corrective action analysis, facilitate cross-functional working sessions, and utilize continuous improvement methodologies to resolve complex operational constraints.

Requirements:

• 6+ years in aerospace manufacturing operations or quality engineering.
• Certified Six Sigma Green Belt minimum — XX Belt preferred.
• Proficient in Fishbone, 5-Why, Pareto analysis, and hypothesis testing applied in a manufacturing context.
• Direct experience facilitating cross-functional root cause working sessions with engineering and operations participants.
• Working knowledge of SAP MRP — able to interpret ZC13 and ZP24 outputs independently.
• Strong analytical skills — able to distinguish constraint from symptom in complex multi-plant environments.
