Your New Role

As the Building Operator, you will be the heartbeat of these properties — the person who keeps everything running safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. From conducting thorough inspections to resolving maintenance challenges, championing preventative programs, and ensuring full compliance with building codes and safety requirements, your fingerprints will be on every aspect of how these buildings perform.

You'll put your hands-on expertise to work across building automation systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, and life safety systems — troubleshooting with confidence, completing repairs with precision, and responding decisively when it matters most.

You'll take the lead on coordinating vendors and contractors, ensuring every project is delivered safely, on time, and to an uncompromising standard. As the visible face of these properties, you'll cultivate strong tenant relationships and be known for the kind of responsive, professional service that keeps people proud to call these buildings home.

You'll also bring your organizational acumen to the administrative and financial side of operations — from invoice processing and accounts payable and receivable to budget preparation, record-keeping, and maintaining airtight operational documentation.

What Sets You Apart

You bring at least five (5) years of hands-on experience leading building operations within a commercial, industrial, or similarly dynamic property environment.

You have deep, practical knowledge of building automation, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, and life safety systems — and you know how to translate that knowledge into real solutions, fast.

You're dependable, service-driven, and thrive working independently while building strong relationships with tenants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams alike.

A valid driver's licence and clean driver's abstract are required.

Compensation

Expected total annual compensation of $66,000 - $71,500O, including a base salary of $60,000–$65,000 and a performance-based bonus opportunity of up to 10%, subject to individual and/or company performance.
