TIG Welder (Stainless Steel - 20 Gauge)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder with expertise in welding 20-gauge stainless steel. The ideal candidate will be able to produce clean, high-quality welds on thin-gauge stainless steel components while maintaining tight tolerances and minimizing distortion.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on 20-gauge stainless steel and other thin-gauge materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
• Fit, tack, and weld stainless steel components to specification.
• Ensure welds are clean, smooth, and meet quality standards.
• Inspect finished welds for defects and perform touch-ups as required.
• Operate grinders, polishers, and other fabrication equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5years of TIG welding experience, preferably with thin-gauge stainless steel.
• Strong experience welding 20-gauge stainless steel with minimal burn-through and distortion.
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Experience with fitting and fabrication is an asset.
• Knowledge of welding safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Requirements

• Proficient in TIG welding stainless steel.
• Experience welding material from 20 gauge and up.
• Ability to pass a practical TIG welding test.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
