Role overview
As a Service Supervisor, you will represent Toro Aluminum on job sites and home sites, acting as the face of our brand. You will supervise a team of Service Technicians, coordinate service activities, and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Supervision
Supervise and support a team of 6 Service Technicians.
Plan and schedule daily work activities, ensuring timely and high-quality execution.
Ensure technicians have the tools, equipment, and information needed to succeed.
Report on performance or operational concerns to management.
Health & Safety
Enforce compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and company safety policies.
Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites.
Identify and report workplace hazards or safety violations.
Technical Operations
Serve as the primary contact for homeowners and contractors, ensuring a positive service experience.
Coordinate service schedules to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
Maintain and service vehicles and equipment; restock supplies as needed.
Provide regular updates and reports to internal management.
Uphold company’s service standards and procedures.
Manage recycling and waste disposal as required.
Customer Service
Represent Toro Aluminum professionally in all interactions with clients and stakeholders.
Administrative Duties
Complete all required documentation, including time sheets, service reports, marked-up drawings, inventory logs, and order forms.
Qualifications:
Education & Licensing
Min. high school diploma.
Valid Class 5 Driver’s license required.
Experience
Experience in the construction industry or similar industry, is required.
Experience with window installation or service is an asset.
Proficient with power tools and comfortable working at heights.
Skills & Competencies
Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and priorities.
Swing stage and suspended access certification is an asset.
Reliable, punctual, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office
Compensation: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour, Tuesdays to Saturdays
