Description

Reporting to the Transportation Manager, the Transportation Administrator supports day-to-day transportation operations, ensuring loads move efficiently through the transportation management system while providing administrative support to the broader Supply Chain team. This role works closely with Customer Service, Deployment, Transportation, Finance, and external carrier partners to help deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Length of Contract: 18 months

Schedule of Work:Monday - Friday, 11:30am - 8pm

Salary Range:$44,000 - $65,000

Responsibilities

  • Manage and action loads within the Transportation Management System (TMS) to ensure efficient and timely freight movement.
  • Coordinate with carriers on spot-rate requests and transportation requirements.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to resolve issues impacting on-time delivery performance.
  • Run daily transportation reports and maintain load information within system platforms.
  • Update and manage transfer load dates as required.
  • Audit carrier invoices, investigate variances, and support dispute resolution.
  • Reconcile carrier statements and support freight payment accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service, Deployment, Transportation, Finance, and external carrier partners to support transportation operations.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field.
  • Experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or a related field
  • Ability to pull and analyze reports and use data to make sound decisions
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS), freight processes, and supply chain operations is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service, accountability, and continuous improvement. #LI-LP1
