Salary Range:$23.00–$27.00/hour
Tenure: Full-Time | Temporary to Permanent
Work Schedule: Morning & Afternoon Shifts

We are currently seeking a mechanically inclined Field Service Technician to join a growing industrial manufacturing team in Hamilton. This position involves assembling, installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy industrial equipment both in the shop and at customer sites throughout North America.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install industrial equipment and mechanical systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and technical specifications
• Perform equipment commissioning, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance
• Install piping systems and mechanical components
• Operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and overhead cranes
• Assist with rigging, hoisting, and positioning of large equipment
• Complete service reports and technical documentation
• Travel to customer sites across North America for installations and service work

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, maintenance, millwright, field service, or industrial construction environments
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience reading blueprints and engineering drawings
• Pipe fitting, equipment installation, or maintenance experience is an asset
• Forklift and overhead crane experience is considered an asset
• Valid driver's license and valid passport required
• Comfortable with frequent travel throughout North America
• Strong communication and customer service skills
