We're seeking a talented part-time Tile Skilled Maintenance Technician who is passionate about quality workmanship and takes pride in every project. This is more than a maintenance role. Key Responsibilities

Perform tile installation, replacement, repair, and grout work in residential suites, common areas, and amenity spaces.
Complete maintenance, renovation, and turnover projects to ensure suites are ready for new resident occupancy.
Assess and troubleshoot flooring, wall tile, and related surface issues to determine appropriate repair solutions.
Remove damaged tiles and prepare surfaces for installation while ensuring a professional finish.
Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and identify opportunities to improve suite and building conditions.
Assist with general maintenance tasks, including minor carpentry, drywall repair, painting, caulking, and finishing work as required.
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and applicable building codes.
Maintain accurate records of completed work, material requirements, and maintenance requests.
Collaborate with Property Management and Maintenance teams to support resident satisfaction and portfolio performance.

Crucial Knowledge & Skills

Advanced knowledge of tile installation, repair, grouting, finishing, and surface preparation techniques.
Ability to interpret work orders, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
Strong communication and resident-focused approach.

Education & Experience Required

Minimum 3-5 years of experiencein tile installation, tile repair, residential maintenance, construction, or related skilled trade.
Demonstrated experience completing residential renovation, suite turnover, or maintenance projects.
Valid Nova Scotia Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.
Eligible to work in Canada and successfully pass a criminal background check.
Experience working in residential rental, condominium, hospitality, or property management environments is preferred.
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment required to perform the duties of the role.
Ability to work flexible hours and participate in an on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and emergency response when required.

Additional Details

Hourly Range:$21-26/hour
Work Arrangement: Fully on-site, 3 days a week at our Nova Scotia location - 800 Windmill Road.
