JOB TITLE: Account Service Representative

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Fixed Term Contract, six (6) months, Hybrid

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
Accerta is seeking a fixed term (6 months) Account Service Representative who will play a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships by delivering exemplary service to all stakeholders. In this role, the successful candidate will support account service operations and assist with Dental Plan Design activities.

The position also involves entering and adjudicating applications and claims in accordance with departmental policies and procedures, while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and high service standards across all account service functions.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Enter and adjudicate applications, claims, and predeterminations.
Contact external parties to obtain additional or missing information
Process corrections for various work items
Maintain eligibility database where necessary
Maintain and protect the confidentiality and privacy of all information.
Maintain a high level of accuracy in all transactions.
Assist with the adjudication system testing to ensure the accurate payment of dental claims and predeterminations
Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 1 to 2 years dental benefit industry experience
Secondary Diploma or equivalent requiredCertified Dental Assistant, Registered Dental Hygienist, or equivalent
The ability to process a high volume of work items in a fast-paced environment accurately and efficientlyStrong oral and written communication skillsLogic and analytical skills to solve problemsAbility to cope with pressure and deadlines
Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPointAccurate data processing ability and knowledge of dental procedures codeThe ability to adapt to changing technology, clients, and processes.

ANNUAL SALARY: $46,501 to $50,780

FLEXIBLE WORK ARRANGEMENT:
Employees are expected to work on-site at least once per month at our Toronto office (4 New Street, Toronto, ON), with additional in-office days as required based on business needs. Hybrid schedules are determined collaboratively between employees, managers, and teams.
