Job Description:Provides direct client care activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The General Duty Nurse is responsible and accountable for the provision of safe client care services and programs. Job description is available upon request.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing (BPN)

Other Education and Training

Nursing diploma is acceptable

Knowledge and Abilities

Knowledge of nursing services relating to the care of patients on rehabilitation
Requires concentration and attention for resident/patient assessment
Establish and maintain good communication patterns
Commitment to service excellence, in quality improvement and risk management
Ability to apply principles and techniques to achieve optimum resident care
Ability to maintain client/patient/resident confidentiality
Knowledge in Infection Prevention and Control standards

Registered/eligible with College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of SK - CRPNS

Kelvington is located approximately 120 km east of Humboldt
Providing clinical experience including assessment and care planning for clients
Experience in clinical supervision and skill development of staff an asset
