Fabrication Welder

Job Summary:

We are currently hiring an experienced Fitter Welder – Fabricator for a full-time opportunity with a construction equipment fabrication company. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in jig and fixture making for high-production welding environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and fabricate jigs & fixtures for production welding
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and layouts
• Understand welding symbols and fabrication specifications
• Work with tolerance and measuring tools accurately
• Perform custom steel plate fabrication
• Support high-volume production operations
• Work independently with minimal supervision

Requirements:

• Minimum10 years of experience in a high-production environment
• Experience with jig & fixture making for production welding
• Strong understanding of welding symbols and fabrication drawings
• Experience with custom steel fabrication
• Ability to accurately use tape measures and measuring devices
• Valid CWB certification (FCAW and/or GMAW)
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
