Job Title: CNC Machinist - Turning/Turn-Mill Operations
Location: South East, Calgary, Alberta, Canada

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist with a strong focus on turning and turn-mill operations, using Fanuc Control. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components, meeting or exceeding production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components according to customer specifications and drawings.
- Performing complex machining operations, including turning and turn-mill operations, using Fanuc Control.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to CNC machining processes to ensure quality and production targets are met.
- Measuring and inspecting finished products using precision measuring instruments and equipment to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
- Maintaining equipment and tools in good working condition and performing routine maintenance activities as required.
- Adhering to safety regulations and company policies and procedures at all times.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC machining.
- Experience in programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines, with a strong focus on turning and turn-mill operations using Fanuc Control and other programs.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and equipment, such as micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges.
- Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and cutting parameters.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
