Construction Project Manager

We're working with a well-established, design-build general contractor that's been delivering commercial and industrial construction projects across the Lower Mainland for decades. Known for its collaborative culture and loyal repeat client base, the company specializes in complex facilities including self-storage, cold storage, food processing, distribution centres, film studios, and other specialized industrial projects.

They're looking to add a Construction Project Manager to their leadership team to oversee projects from pre-construction through closeout.

Location
Full-time, office-based role in Delta with regular travel to project sites throughout Metro Vancouver.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and safety targets are achieved.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, contracts, procurement, and change orders.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, municipalities, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Lead project teams and provide direction to site staff throughout construction.
• Manage project reporting, documentation, risk, and financial performance.
• Build strong client relationships and act as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years' experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects with a general contractor.
• Experience delivering complex projects with minimal oversight.
• Strong knowledge of BC construction practices, permitting, and municipal approval processes.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.
• Design-build experience is considered a strong asset.
• Collaborative, hands-on approach with a focus on teamwork and accountability.
