Role overview

This is a Teacher Librarian position that will require
flexibility! The assignment includes
library with
both collaborative time and instruction release time, as well as literacy and
numeracy support. The Teacher Librarian will assist with RLA
Symposium of Learning. Experience with technology,
particularly G-Suite, is an asset.

The starting annual salary for this position ranges from
$68,492 to $118,751 with the placement on the range based on length of service
and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement, and pro-rated
to FTE.

Qualifications:

Successful Secondary classroom teaching experience.
Knowledge of, and willingness to use, current best practices

in education.

Familiarity with the BC Curriculum.
A strong team orientation.
Excellent planning and organizational skills.
A desire to grow professionally.
Clear criminal record.
