Live-in Superintendent Residential Building, 1 Bedroom Apartment

We are seeking a Residential live in Superintendent for 2 small, quiet buildings in downtown Hamilton area. The superintendent will be given a 1 bedroom unit to live in.

Mature, responsible couple preferred with superintendent experience. Position will be available for July 1st, includes apartment plus salary.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all maintenance activities within the building
• Perform routine inspections in tenants units
• Coordinate and oversee contractors for major repairs or renovations
• Keep the buildings clean and cut grass/shovel snow walkways when needed
• Collect rents from tenants each month

Experience:

• Experience as a residential superintendent is an asset, willing to train the right applicant.
• Communicate well with tenants and contractors
• Management skills to oversee renovations and repairs
• Being handy is a plus
