JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title:Shipping / Receiving

Shift: This department operates 7 days a week. Shifts will vary based on business needs and will be discussed during the interview

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Load store orders coming from the cooler onto the trucks to be shipped to customers
Verify load order are correct, strapped in properly, and have equipment that is assigned to the load on the truck
Unload and Receive products, complete proper paperwork, signoffs and verification of products
Pile various size boxes onto skids, ensuring neat, safe, and secure piles
Keep floors tidy of debris and broken egg; ensure the space between the pallets and the wall is clear of debris
Complete daily safety check on the power cart and/or stacker; report any issues or concerns to the Supervisor
Move pallets of eggs from the grading floor to the graded cooler
When moving inventory, ensure that product is moved safely to avoid breakage of product
Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

High School Education preferred.
Must be able to lift 1-50lbs.
Must have attention to detail.
Must have a great work ethic, attendance and willing to work as a team player.
Must be able to work in a loud and busy environment.
Must be able to work in a cold environment for Order Picking.
Must be able to read and follow work instructions and policies on proper load procedures and Order Picking procedures.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Ability to work within a team setting as well as independently.
