Veenstra + Lloyd's Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is looking for a motivated Plumbing Apprentice to join our growing team.
If you've completed at least two years of your plumbing apprenticeship and are eager to continue learning from experienced licensed plumbers, we'd love to meet you. Position Details
Schedule: Full-time
Vehicle: Company vehicle provided when appropriate
Equipment: Company phone, uniforms, and major tools provided
Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers with residential and light commercial plumbing installations and repairs
- Perform plumbing service, maintenance, and installation work under the direction of licensed plumbers
- Learn proper troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques
- Prepare job sites, organize materials, and maintain a clean, safe work environment
- Communicate professionally with customers while representing the company
- Complete accurate job notes using company software
- Follow Ontario Plumbing Code requirements and company safety procedures
- Continue progressing through apprenticeship training and practical experience
- Work collaboratively with office staff and fellow technicians
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of registered plumbing apprenticeship experience
- Registered Plumbing Apprentice in Ontario
- Valid G driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Positive attitude and strong willingness to learn
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using smartphones and mobile service software
- Experience with Simpro or similar field service software is considered an asset
Education Requirements
- Registered Plumbing Apprentice in Ontario
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Working at Heights certification (or willingness to obtain)
- WHMIS certification (preferred)
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of plumbing apprenticeship experience
- Residential plumbing experience preferred
- Light commercial plumbing experience considered an asset
