Document Processing Production Specialist

Regular Full-time

Duties:The position reports to the Director, Marketing, Communications and Donor Relations, and is responsible for providing support to faculty, staff, management, and college partners in the areas of document design, editing, formatting, printing, and photocopying using advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite DC.

Qualifications:The ideal candidate will possess a Grade 12 education along with a certificate or diploma in Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field; however, demonstrated equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal credentials. They will have a minimum of two years of experience in a collaborative, high-volume customer service environment, with a strong background in electronic and print production, document design, and formatting. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is required, along with expertise in graphic design and working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and design software such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. The candidate must be proficient in document and digital file management processes and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions from faculty and staff. Strong organizational skills are essential, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and effectively multitask. The successful individual will exhibit strong teamwork skills and actively support the College's commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-written, verbal, and listening-are required, along with a proven ability to work effectively with a diverse clientele. Salary: Position #27

CUPE Pay Level 4 with a starting wage of $46,810.40 per year with increments progressing to Step 5 as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.
