FIT4LESS MANAGER OF OPERATIONS

Who is a Fit4Less Manager of Operations?

This role leads a team of Region Managers and Managers to run financially healthy clubs focused on clean, friendly, and automated experiences for both members and associates. A strong focus is placed on improving revenue, cost-effectiveness, service, cleanliness, and supporting business development. This role is responsible for overseeing region and club operations within assigned Fit4Less regions and ensuring company expectations are met. Additionally, this role is critically responsible for ensuring operational consistency within their assigned regions and from coast to coast.

Job Summary

Executes and implements key action items and follows through on requested direction to ensure associate expectations are delivered appropriately for the member and associate experience.:

Follows expectation guidelines for completing expected/pop-in club visits with each direct report and supplying required documentation from visits.

-

Informs and receives approval of supervisor if unable to complete visit and/or requested documentation.

-

Leads conference calls, one-on-one calls, and appropriate follow-up to support and communicate company policies, procedures and expectations.

Leads required training with direct reports.

-

Ensures direct reports lead training of their teams.

-

Ensures all direct reports attend and complete required training programs.

-

Manages, reviews, edits and requests changes for approval to assigned club operation processes and manuals.

Collaborates and discusses

-

Completes actions as assigned and as assigned by the Director of Operations and from club visits.

Manages direct reports and the people requirements of the Department/Team using provided tools and resources to ensure the successful execution of all key responsibilities and tasks, retention of great talent, and high Associate engagement.:

-

Facilitates recruitment of direct reports to ensure adequate resourcing based on approved Department/Team budget.

-

Leads the onboarding, coaching, learning, development, and performance management of all direct reports to ensure a positive and safe working experience.

Identifies and uses effective action plans to solve operational duties and processes that are not meeting or exceeding expectations to deliver the expected member and potential member experience.:

-

Ensures execution of daily, weekly and monthly cleanliness and service responsibilities and holds accountability to the brand’s expectations.

-

Escalates appropriately as per processes to ensure concerns and circumstances are addressed appropriately and timely.

-

Trains team on the handling of member concerns and dealing with escalated member complaints in each region.

Recognizes, actions and follows up with Club Services and Fit4Less IT regarding escalated ongoing equipment and facility maintenance reporting/issues for each Region.

Completes or follows up with direct reports to ensure club cleanliness and facility requirements as per mandated compliance standards in Health and Safety Standards.

Manages and ensures the financial management of assigned clubs’ and regions’ locations, which includes achieving all revenue goals and controlling all expenses to achieve budgeted EBITDA.:

Recognizes and improves black card % expectations and maximize black card % opportunity in each club.

Ensures services, facility, equipment and cleanliness opportunities are recognized, actioned and followed up on to maximize revenue gains for each club.

Executes processes that ensure clean clubs, friendly associates, a friendly culture and an automated brand. Constant and consistent management of process expectations and opportunities within these 4 critical areas.

Elevates and maintains combined performance in these 4 areas. This combination is the formula to maximize profitability.

Ensures the success of opening and reopening of all new, conversion, acquisition, or renovating club, and launched project that operate under Fit4Less to ensure a club is operationally 100% ready to go when (re)open/launched.

Our Ideal Fit4Less Candidate:

University Degree or College Diploma

-

3 years success in a management role at Fit4Less or equivalent management role in the fitness industry.

-

1 year success as a Region Manager (Fit4Less) or Division Manager (GoodLife Fitness).

-

Proven success in leading, training and motivating teams.

-

Success in exceeding individual and team sales goals.

-

Advanced verbal and written communication

-

Advanced Customer Service

-

Basic proficiency in the use of computers/technology (e.g., Microsoft office/apps, internet)

Ability to consistently keep information confidential

Provides challenging tasks and assignments.

Compensation:
It is expected that the selected candidate will start at a base salary of $78,000. This position is eligible for bonuses in addition to the base salary. The annual range of expected compensation for the position is $78,000 - $110,000 determined by performance, time in the position and variable compensation earned.
