Role overview

emergiTEL is hiring a Print Production Associate (Level 1) for our client in the Document Management and Printing Services industry. This is a Contract role.

Compensation: $16 – $20/hour

Location: Toronto, ON

Job Description (English)

Essential Functions:

Operate digital print equipment
Operate standard finishing equipment (paper cutters, bindery, laminating, drilling)
Act as the point of contact to receive customer requests, provide estimates, schedule, and track production
Perform basic quality inspections before, during, and after each production run
Track and store jobs as required for future reuse
Maintain reporting logs and billing information
Wrap, pack, label, and ship finished products
Maintain appropriate inventory levels of supplies
Troubleshoot basic issues to meet production and delivery requirements
Lift up to 50 pounds as needed
Stand and walk for up to 80% of the workday
Demonstrate willingness to learn and develop

Skills:

Strong communication skills (oral and written)
Intermediate proficiency in MS Office, Adobe, and relevant software

Experience:

6 months to 1 year of experience in a customer service environment

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent (required)
Post-secondary technical training or experience (preferred)
