Meaningful work. Lasting impact.
At McMan Calgary & Area, connection is at our core. Every year, we make a meaningful difference in the lives of more than 5,000 children, youth, adults, and families by providing programs and services that support those with complex needs—including mental health challenges, addictions, homelessness, poverty, and disabilities. We believe in everyone’s deep and infinite worth, and no matter who you are, we will walk alongside you.
Through our work, we rebuild, integrate, and strengthen connections - to self, peers, families, communities, support professionals, and the land - because people need people. Our sense of well-being, identity, and belonging comes from relationships, and healing happens through these connections. Professional supports are there for a season or a reason, not a lifetime, because our goal is to empower individuals and families to thrive independently.
We are seeking a People & Culture Coordinator to join our P&C team and play a key role in delivering a positive, organized, and supportive employee experience for over 130 employees across multiple locations. If you are someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly, values accuracy and relationships equally, and is motivated by meaningful work in a people‑centered environment, this role may be a great fit.
ABOUT THE ROLEAs the People & Culture Coordinator, you will be a trusted, central point of contact for employees and managers throughout the employee lifecycle - from onboarding through changes, development, and offboarding. You will provide hands‑on coordination and administrative support across recruitment, onboarding, HR systems, benefits, payroll support, and employee engagement initiatives. This role is well‑suited for someone who is detail‑oriented, approachable, and enjoys contributing to a values‑driven, not‑for‑profit organization.
