Job Summary:

The Mobile Application Developer and Support Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications using SAP Mobile Development Kit (MDK) and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This role involves supporting SAP systems, customizing mobile solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of efficient, secure, and user-friendly mobile applications aligned with business needs.
Responsibilities:

Provide support, operation, and maintenance activities for SAP systems and related applications.
Design, develop, and implement custom SAP mobile application solutions following established standards.
Lead development efforts for new SAP solutions and support custom development and module customization.
Fine-tune SAP objects and systems using SAP best practices.
Analyze business and functional requirements; prepare project schedules, tasks, and estimates.
Perform technical design, document specifications, and conduct design and code reviews.
Analyze root causes and resolve production and development issues effectively.
Collaborate closely with SAP Developer team and SAP Functional Resources to ensure project success.
Assess and apply vendor patches, upgrades, and releases to custom code.
Document RICEFW components including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
Develop mobile applications using SAP MDK, build pages, rules, actions, and implement offline-first functionality.
Customize and extend MDK apps using JavaScript and manage application lifecycle via SAP Mobile Services.
Develop backend extensions using SAP CAP with Node.js or Java and maintain HDI containers on SAP HANA Cloud.
Configure authentication, security policies, and native device integrations such as camera, GPS, barcode scanning, and file uploads.
Debug, troubleshoot, optimize applications, perform unit testing, and support user acceptance testing.
Ensure compliance with corporate security, usability, and accessibility standards.
Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment guides.

Required Skills:

Post-secondary education in Computer Technology or related field.
SAP certifications in BTP, MDK, or Mobile Services.
Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with SAP MDK, SAP BAS, and SAP BTP Mobile Services.
Proficiency in creating MDK pages, rules, actions, and integrating with OData services from SAP S/4HANA.
Strong skills in JavaScript and SAP Fiori design.
Experience with mobile app deployment on iOS and Android platforms.
Ability to design, build, and deploy Fiori applications and extensions.
Experience developing backend extensions using SAP CAP (Node.js or Java).
Knowledge of HDI containers, SAP HANA Cloud database artifacts, and SAP security configurations (OAuth, SAML).
Experience with native device integrations such as camera, GPS, barcode scanning, and file uploads.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Desired Skills:

Experience with SAP Asset Manager or SAP Service & Asset Manager.
Familiarity with vendor patching, upgrades, and custom code maintenance.
Knowledge of corporate security, usability, and accessibility standards for mobile applications.

Must Haves:
