Description
The Team
The Nursing Services team at HealthLink BC is an established group of over 160 professionals—including Telenurses, Shift Leaders, Managers, and support staff—who deliver virtual nursing care to people across British Columbia every day. Based in Langley and Burnaby, this team operates 24/7 to improve access to care and reduce demand on in-person services. As a Manager of Nursing Services, you’ll supervise a team of Telenurses working under a matrix agreement with the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) in a BC Nurses’ Union (BCNU) environment, while also collaborating with internal and external partners. You’ll contribute to strategic projects that enhance virtual care delivery across the province. The team is recognized for its commitment to B.C. residents and to HealthLink BC’s mission of providing trusted, accessible health information and services.
The Role
As a Manager of Nursing Services at HealthLink BC, you’ll help shape how virtual nursing care is delivered across the province. You’ll work closely with a collaborative leadership team to support the shift toward a more integrated and coordinated service model—one designed to help people achieve optimal health and wellness, no matter where they are in their care journey. This includes hands-on involvement in leading the implementation of technical systems and initiatives that directly impact staff, workflows, and care processes—helping to enhance service delivery, improve team effectiveness, and ensure a seamless integration of virtual nursing services into practice. Your work ensures services are designed with equity, diversity, and inclusion at the core—so they meet the needs of all communities across B.C. It’s a role where your leadership directly supports nurses, strengthens care for patients, and helps build a more connected and compassionate health system for everyone.
