· Level measurement\: Radar, displacers, and gauges

· Temperature measurement\: Including thermowell frequency wake calculations

· Pressure measurement

· Process analyzers and sampling systems (considered an asset)

Systems and Software Knowledge

· Instrument calculation and selection software

· DCS systems, including Honeywell TDC/TPS/Experion

· PLC systems, including Modicon and Rockwell

· SIS systems, including Triconex (considered an asset)

· Industry standards and codes related to Instrumentation & Control system deliverables

· SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) software

· Fiber and radio communication network design and implementation

· Microsoft Office Suite

· Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software (considered an asset)

· SPI software training, including the wiring module (considered an asset)

Additional Skills

· Experience leading teams and coordinating work across multiple concurrent small- and medium-sized projects.

· Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Education and Qualifications

· Accredited degree in General Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

· Minimum 5 years of direct Instrumentation & Controls design and engineering experience.

· Membership or eligibility for membership with ASET or APEGA (preferred).

For applicants based in the province of British Columbia, the salary range is $99,696 to $140,784

The Role

We are currently seeking an Intermediate Instrumentation & Controls Engineer / Technologist to join our Instrumentation & Controls team. In this role, you will contribute to the design and engineering of instrumentation and control systems, ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with safety, quality, cost, and schedule requirements.

Responsibilities

· Perform instrumentation and control design and engineering work as part of a multidisciplinary project team.

· Interpret client specifications and incorporate requirements into project deliverables.

· Coordinate and communicate effectively with other disciplines and clients.

· Ensure work is completed in accordance with the Worley Quality Assurance system.

· Identify technical issues and develop appropriate solutions, seeking assistance when required.

· Assist and support junior team members within the Instrumentation & Controls engineering team, as required.

· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and technical innovations in instrumentation and controls engineering.

· Provide support during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities, as needed.
