Rural Roads Health Services (RRHS) is actively seeking applicants for a Medical Laboratory Technologist in the Laboratory Services Department.

The primary location for this position is: Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll

Qualifications Required:

Certification with Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
Current registration or eligible as a Medical Laboratory Technologist with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario with authorization to practice relevant specialties in Laboratory Medicine.
Minimum two years' experience in a medical laboratory preferred
Demonstrated computer literacy (i.e. Cerner);
Ability to work with minimal supervision;
Demonstrated accuracy, organizational and multi-tasking skills;
Ability to collaborate, develop and maintain effective relationships within healthcare teams;
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written);
Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to personal, patient and staff safety;
Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis;
Ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.

Other pertinent conditions:

Salary per the OPSEU collective agreement ($36.84 per hour to $50.24 per hour)
Must be able to perform Phlebotomy
