Role overview

TM Americas, a tourism representation agency working with international destinations across the Americas, is looking for a Junior Account Executive based in Quebec (Montreal preferred) to join our Canadian team on an independent contractor basis.

This is a commercial, field-based role — not marketing or communications. You'll be out visiting travel agencies, opening doors, building relationships with tour operators, and representing our destinations to the Quebec travel trade.

What we're looking for

1 to 2 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management.
Fully bilingual French and English (written and spoken) — essential for the Quebec market. Spanish is a strong plus.
Previous experience visiting clients in the field / on-the-ground commercial work.
Highly organized, with strong follow-up and the ability to manage multiple accounts in parallel without dropping details.
Self-motivated and disciplined — comfortable working remotely and managing your own schedule as a contractor.
Availability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

What you'll do

Conduct weekly visits to travel agencies and tour operators across Quebec (primarily Montreal and surrounding areas).
Prospect and open new accounts, identify commercial opportunities, and follow through to close.
Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, airlines, and industry partners.
Deliver product trainings to travel agents (small and larger groups).
Represent our destinations at industry trade shows, events, and activations.
Report on commercial performance against sales KPIs.
Provide client support both in-person and remotely.

Nice to have

Background in tourism, hospitality, or international business.
Existing network within the Quebec travel trade.

Engagement type: Independent contractor / service agreement
Compensation: Monthly retainer, paid in USD via international transfer
Schedule: Flexible — you manage your own time as long as commercial objectives and client visits are met
Remote work with in-person client visits across Quebec
