THE JOB: Senior Analyst, Physician Advocacy
The starting salary range falls within the minimum to mid-point of the salary range.
Starting Salary Range: $90,640 - $113,300
The Senior Analyst, Physician Advocacy provides analytical, project management, and operational support to the Regional Advocacy team, with a primary focus on physician health and safety initiatives and regional advocacy priorities. Reporting to the Manager, Regional Advocacy the role supports provincial and regional physician health and safety working groups by coordinating projects, preparing briefing materials, facilitating meetings, monitoring and tracking annual agreement funding, and providing strategic analysis to inform complex physician health and safety initiatives. The Senior Analyst also contributes to key initiatives such as the Health Authority Engagement Survey, the Physician Health and Safety Summit, and the implementation of provincial and regional physician health and safety projects. Working independently, the role develops analytical approaches, synthesizes complex information, identifies emerging issues, and provides recommendations that support evidence-informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
The Senior Analyst conducts detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis of regional and local HAE survey data to identify trends, develop presentations and reports, and communicate findings to physician groups, health authority partners, committees, and internal stakeholders. The role prepares evaluation reports, briefing notes, summaries, and recommendations to support both physician health and safety initiatives and individual or group physician advocacy matters, including reviews of health authority policies, medical staff rules, and other system-level issues. Working collaboratively with Regional Advisors and Advocates, physicians, health authority representatives, and cross-functional teams, the Senior Analyst builds strong partnerships, responds to complex inquiries, and effectively communicates analytical findings while addressing questions, supporting evidence-based recommendations, and influencing stakeholders toward practical solutions that improve physician working conditions, safety, and advocacy outcomes across British Columbia.
