John Ross & Sons Ltd. specializes in purchasing and processing all ferrous and non-ferrous metals, along with accepting a wide range of recyclable material to process.

We are currently seeking energetic and safety minded drivers to join our team based in Halifax.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

Help to transport metal products across the Maritimes

Ensuring safety and security of cargo

Hauling various metal recycling products

Gather appropriate paperwork for deliveries

Properly record hours and mileage in logbook

Maintain cleanliness of vehicle

Ensure deficiencies are noted and reported to management

Qualifications and Skills:

Valid Class 1 or Class 3 License is mandatory

Clean Drivers Abstract is mandatory

Minimum 2 years driving experience in a Class 1 or Class 3 role in Canada is mandatory

Safety driven mindset

Clear communication skills

Comfortable driving in all weather conditions

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Saturdays as needed, 6:30am-12pm

Pay Range: $24.00/hr - $31.00/hr

Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada.
