Job Description:The Registered Nurse A is responsible to the Manager, Clinical Services ICU/PACU. The Registered Nurse A is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the Saskatchewan Health Authority. As a member of the Nursing department, the Registered Nurse A has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client centered care.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Critical Care Nursing certificate (CCN)

Other Education and Training

Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
Critical Care Nursing certificate (CCN)
Nursing diploma is acceptable

Other Information

Unqualified candidates must be willing to take the Critical Care Nursing (CCN) training in a specified time.
Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
