DIRECTOR OF GROWTH & STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT

Role Overview: Our client is entering an exciting stage of growth and evolution. As Western Canada's leading Destination Management and Event Production company, they are seeking a strategic leader to help strengthen their commercial engine, expand market presence, and create greater alignment across Business Development, Marketing, Proposal Development, and Operations.

Key Areas of Responsibility: ·

Commercial Growth Strategy ·
Business Development Leadership ·
Sales, Marketing and Proposal Integration ·
Business Systems & Process Improvement
Market Expansion & Industry Leadership

Success Measures:

Increased market presence and brand recognition
Stronger alignment between Sales, Marketing, Proposal Development, and Operations
Improved proposal quality and win rates
Measurable improvements in forecasting, reporting, and sales effectiveness

Experience & Qualifications:

7+ years of sales, business development, or revenue leadership experience with strong account management capabilities
Experience leading and mentoring business development or sales teams
Strong understanding of B2B sales strategy and pipeline management
CRM implementation and sales operations experience
Strong presentation and communication skills
Hospitality, events, destination management, travel, tourism, or related industry experience preferred

Compensation
