Job Description:Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the RN/RPN provides accurate assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of resident care. An ability to communicate effectively with families and the health care team is required. he individual must possess a progressive and innovative approach to long term care.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Other Education and Training

Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
Nursing diploma is acceptable

Knowledge and Abilities

Perform nursing services relating to the care of patients in long term care
