Title: People & Culture Business Partner
Status: Full Time
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
Location: In Office with Hybrid Opportunities

About the Role
At Alpine, our People & Culture team isn't just here to support the business, we help drive it. We're advisors, coaches, problem-solvers, investigators, recruiters, strategic partners, and occasionally the calm voice in the middle of a very busy day. We work alongside leaders across the organization to build strong teams, navigate challenges, and create workplaces where people can do their best work.

We're looking for a People & Culture Business Partner who thrives in a fast-paced environment, embraces change, and can pivot quickly when priorities shift. Someone who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution and is equally comfortable discussing workforce planning as they are handling a complex employee or labour relations matter.

If you like variety, solving problems, building relationships, and helping leaders make great people decisions, keep reading.

What You’ll Do
As a trusted partner to leaders across the business, you'll support the full employee lifecycle, from attracting great talent to helping teams navigate growth, change, and all the thing a workplace brings.

You will:

Partner with leaders on employee relations, performance management, attendance management, investigations, accommodations, and workforce planning
Provide guidance on collective agreement interpretation, grievances, progressive discipline, and labour relations matters
Support recruitment and talent acquisition activities, helping leaders identify, attract, and hire top talent
Partner with hiring managers on recruitment strategies, interviews, and selection decisions
Support onboarding and integration efforts to help new employees get off to a strong start
Coach leaders through difficult conversations and people-related decisions
Conduct workplace investigations and provide balanced, practical recommendations
Support organizational changes, restructures, and business growth initiatives
Interpret employment legislation, company policies, and collective agreements to provide practical advice
