Role overview

Licensed Diesel Mechanic I (Red Seal)

Location: Edmonton (west end), Alberta Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:15 p.m. to 11:45 p.m. Pay: $44.00 to $48.00 per hour

Afternoons in a well-run shop beat days in a bad one. Fewer interruptions, a quieter floor after the day crew clears out, and the room to work a job through properly instead of rushing it out the door.

This is a Red Seal seat on a current fleet with proper diagnostic equipment and a shop that's actually organized. If you're wrenching somewhere that's short on tooling and long on excuses, this is worth a conversation.
