JOIN EDMONTON'S PREMIER LAST-MILE DELIVERY TEAM

Western Xpress Delivery is seeking experienced Class 1 drivers to join our growing furniture and appliance delivery division. If you're looking for steady work with a company that values professionalism, safety, and customer satisfaction, we want to hear from you.

THE ROLE

Run 12-20 stop multi-drop routes across Edmonton and surrounding areas, plus multi-day regional circuits reaching into Saskatchewan and BC
Deliver furniture, appliances, and high-value merchandise requiring white-glove service
Handle 25-35 pieces per shift, including team lifts on items up to 500 lbs
Keep dwell time under 30 minutes per stop, including setup
Maintain 98%+ on-time performance, tracked in real time via GPS

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Operate 5-ton straight trucks and tractor-trailers on regional and local routes, from Edmonton north to Fort St. John and Fort McMurray, and south to the US border
Provide professional in-home delivery, including placement and basic setup
Complete pre-trip inspections and DVIR documentation
Navigate residential deliveries with challenging access (stairs, elevators, narrow spaces)
Maintain a damage-free delivery record through proper load securing and handling
Work collaboratively with helpers/team drivers on 2-person deliveries

REQUIREMENTS

✓ Valid Alberta Class 1 licence with clean abstract ✓ Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience (furniture/appliance delivery preferred) ✓ Strong customer service skills - you're the face of our company ✓ Able to lift 150+ lbs repeatedly and work physically demanding shifts (team lifts required above this) ✓ Professional appearance and communication ✓ Flexible schedule, including early starts, overnight regional trips, and occasional weekends ✓ Clean criminal record check
