Job Summary
Ocean Village Resort is a beachfront resort seeking an experienced, leadership-driven Executive Housekeeper to manage, direct, and oversee our entire housekeeping and laundry operations. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team to maintain the highest level of cleanliness and safety standards, optimizing the guest experience across all resort accommodations and facilities.
Main Duties & Responsibilities

Department Operations: Direct, control, and manage the day-to-day operations of the resort's housekeeping and laundry departments.

Team Leadership & Scheduling: Plan, coordinate, schedule, and assign the daily activities of housekeeping supervisors, room attendants, and laundry crews.

Staff Management: Hire, train, onboard, supervise, and mentor housekeeping staff, while enforcing resort performance standards.

Quality & Safety Inspections: Coordinate and conduct strict, regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and common areas to ensure health regulations, local sanitation rules, and safety standards are flawlessly executed.

Inventory & Purchasing: Select, purchase, and manage inventories for housekeeping equipment, chemicals, linens, uniforms, and guest room supplies.

Maintenance Coordination: Oversee and arrange for the routine maintenance, servicing, and repair of departmental equipment, machinery, and facilities.

Guest Relations: Promptly and professionally handle, address, and resolve guest complaints regarding property cleanliness and service.
Employment Requirements

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required. A college diploma or university degree in hospitality management, hotel management, or business administration is highly preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 1 to 2 years of direct experience in a hotel or resort housekeeping supervisory or management capacity is preffered.

Language of Work: English.

Core Skills: Advanced team leadership capability, exceptional communication skills, highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in housekeeping financial administration.
