Position Title: Learning Consultant – Expert (French)

Schedule: 37.5 Hours/week, 9-5 Monday to Friday
Rate $70/hr

What does the LOB do?: LOB is the arm of HR that builds learning for CIBC. All Enterprises, mandatory and regulatory training alongside induction across the bank

What project will this contractor be working on? 1) Mandatory Training Program (MTP) 2) Compass Mobile Enhancements and 3) PSP Modernization MVP 2
Interview Process: 2 rounds of interviews. Will be with a panel of leaders.

What you’ll be doing
The Learning Consultant will research, recommend, and design content for a variety of learning and performance solutions, and manage development activities for related projects aligned with all of CIBCs strategies and goals, aiming to enhance employee capabilities, supporting a client-centric environment.
The focus of this role is to design learning solutions based on learning and performance objectives, job-specific procedures/activities, and measures of success, and then to build those learning solutions in Talent Development’s available authoring (for example, Articulate 360 suite) and multimedia tools. A primary function is the ability to review courses built in French to ensure that they are free of grammatical error and that audio recordings sounds as natural as possible.
To function effectively, the Learning Consultant must be Francophone or bilingual, have excellent instructional design skills, communication and writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple and competing deliverables, and experience designing content for adult learners in a variety of formats, including e-learning storyboards, self-guided and instructor-led. The Learning Consultant will work closely with other Talent Development team members and possibly internal partners.

Bilingual – must have strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English
Experience with Articulate 360, Rise and Storyline, Adobe
Adult Learning/Education Certification
Instructional Design expertise [E.g., ability to conduct a Training needs analysis (TNA)]
