Job Description:The Registered Nurse is responsible to the Nursing Unit Manager or Director of Nursing. The Registered Nurse is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region. As a member of the nursing department, the Registered Nurse has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client centered care.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Emergency Nursing Certificate

Other Education and Training

Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
Nursing diploma is acceptable
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
