Job Description:HealthLine 811 is a technology rich, evolving provincial program that offers free, confidential health, mental health & addictions information and supportive telephone advice available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to all residents of Saskatchewan. Current services include health information, service referral, assessment and triage for inbound callers. HealthLine 811 outbound call service is expanding and new programs are being developed. HealthLine 811 Registered Nurses work in a team environment with Social Workers and Psychiatric Registered Nurses.

Experience

  • Recent acute care experience.
  • 3 years clinical experience using high levels of independent assessment skills

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Other Education and Training

  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
  • Nursing diploma is acceptable

Other Information

  • All clinician roles at Healthline 811 are sedentary.
  • Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
