Our client is a well-established North American distributor of essential products, equipment and solutions serving contractor, industrial and commercial customers.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an Outside Sales Representative with an entrepreneurial mindset — someone who enjoys identifying opportunities, capturing the business and being rewarded for results.

You'll take ownership of an established Southwest Ontario territory with an existing customer base and significant growth potential, while expanding current accounts and actively developing new business.

Ideally, you'll be based in London, Kitchener-Waterloo or Guelph area.

The Opportunity
This is a proactive, opportunity-driven sales environment. The successful rep isn't waiting for opportunities to come to them. You're paying attention to what's happening in your market, staying close to your customers, identifying where demand is developing and acting quickly to capture the business.

You'll work with a diverse customer base across contractor, construction, industrial, commercial and institutional markets, representing a broad range of essential products, equipment and value-added solutions.

What You'll Do

• Take ownership of an established Southwest Ontario sales territory.
• Grow existing customer relationships while actively developing new business.
• Proactively identify and pursue opportunities throughout your market.
• Build strong relationships with contractors, industrial and commercial customers.
• Identify customer needs and recommend value-added products and solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate opportunities and close sales.
• Maintain customer activity and sales pipeline using CRM.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of successful outside B2B sales experience.
• Proven ability to develop new business while growing existing accounts.
• An entrepreneurial, opportunity-driven approach to sales.
• Strong relationship-building, communication and consultative selling skills.
• Excellent organization, territory management and follow-through.
• Experience using CRM software.
• Valid driver's licence.

Experience selling industrial supplies, safety/PPE, building materials, construction products, MRO, tools, equipment or other B2B products and solutions would be an asset.
