Experienced Hotel Housekeeper

About the Position

Super 8 by Wyndham Red Deer is currently seeking an experienced Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. We are looking for someone who has previous experience working in hotels and can maintain high standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and guest satisfaction with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to Wyndham hotel standards.
• Make beds and replace linens.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms thoroughly.
• Vacuum, dust, mop, and disinfect guest rooms and public areas.
• Replenish towels, toiletries, coffee supplies, and guest amenities.
• Inspect rooms to ensure they meet quality standards before releasing them.
• Report maintenance issues immediately.
• Work efficiently to complete assigned rooms within required timeframes.
• Follow all hotel safety and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with laundry and deep cleaning projects when required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hotel housekeeping experience is required.
• Experience working in branded hotels (Wyndham, Best Western, Choice, Marriott, Hilton, IHG, etc.) is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
• Able to lift up to 25 kg.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping standards.
• Experience using housekeeping checklists.
• Strong time management.
• Ability to inspect rooms to hotel quality standards.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
