THE ROLE:

We are currently hiring Packaging Associates for a growing pet food manufacturing facility located in Ingersoll, ON.

This hands-on role involves manually packaging premium natural pet treats, bones, and chews for distribution across Canada. Associates primarily work in the dry packaging department, where products are carefully packaged into mesh bags, labeled, inspected for quality, and prepared for shipping. Employees work alongside a small production team in a medium-paced environment focused on quality, consistency, and teamwork. As production needs change throughout the day, team members may also be asked to assist in the raw or freezer departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Manually package dehydrated pet treats, bones, sticks, and chews into mesh packaging according to company standards

· Apply product labels and verify product information for accuracy

· Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met

· Prepare completed orders for shipping and distribution

· Maintain accurate product counts and meet daily production targets

· Keep workstations clean, organized, and free of debris

· Work collaboratively with a small production team to meet daily production goals

· Follow all food safety, sanitation, GMP, and workplace safety procedures

· Assist in the dry packaging, raw production, or freezer departments as operational needs require

· Perform general labour and production duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

· Comfortable handling natural pet food products, including dehydrated treats, raw ingredients, and animal bones

· Comfortable working in dry production, refrigerated, and freezer environments as required

· Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks throughout an 8-hour shift

· Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs on a regular basis

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

· Comfortable working in a medium-paced manufacturing environment

· Reliable with excellent attendance and punctuality

· Positive attitude and willingness to learn

· Able to work independently and as part of a small team

· Previous manufacturing, packaging, food production, warehouse, or general labour experience is considered an asset

· CSA-approved safety shoes are required
