Role overview

Our client is a privately held Canadian real estate investment and property management platform with a diversified commercial portfolio spanning approximately 4 million square feet nationally. With assets across industrial, office, and retail sectors, the organization has built a strong reputation through long-term ownership, operational stability, and a highly relationship-driven approach to asset management and leasing.

Your New Employer

Our client is entering a period of continued national growth and portfolio sophistication, creating a rare opportunity for a senior leasing professional to step into a highly visible role with long-term leadership potential. The organization is placing increased emphasis on strategic leasing, cross-functional collaboration, and building a stronger portfolio-wide leasing infrastructure to support the next phase of the business.

The culture is highly collaborative, entrepreneurial, and relationship-oriented. Leadership is approachable, communicative, and focused on building a professional, people-first environment where employees are trusted, visible, and empowered to contribute strategically. This is not a highly bureaucratic or rigid institutional platform. Instead, it offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, influence decision-making, and help shape the future structure of the leasing function nationally.

Your Role

Reporting to the SVP, Property Management, the Senior Leasing Manager will lead leasing strategy and execution across a diversified commercial portfolio, primarily industrial assets, with office and retail exposure.

Working closely with Asset Management, Property Management, and external brokerage partners, you will oversee renewals, negotiations, market analysis, leasing reporting, and portfolio positioning initiatives while contributing to broader asset strategy discussions and long-term business planning.

The successful candidate will be commercially minded, polished, collaborative, and capable of balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day leasing execution. This role is ideal for someone looking to step beyond transactional leasing into a more influential, portfolio-level leadership opportunity with long-term growth potential.

Compensation

Expected base salary of $130,000 to $160,000 per year. This role is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is not guaranteed and may vary based on individual and company performance and is commensurate with experience. Our client also offers 100% employer-paid health benefits and the opportunity to build a long-term career.

Take the Next Step

If you are a strategic commercial real estate leasing professional looking to join a stable, nationally recognized platform where you can contribute beyond transactions and help shape the future of a growing leasing function, and you meet the qualifications and criteria outlined above, we will be in touch in the next 48 hours to discuss how HighView can help you make your Best Next Move.
