Job Description:Provides direct client care activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The General Duty Nurse is responsible and accountable for the provision of safe client care services and programs. The main focus of this position is in the area of Operating Room, Emergency Room, and Ambulatory Care Services including Pre-Admission Clinic, Day Surgery, Endoscopy and Post-Anesthetic Care. The incumbent will be required to float to other areas as directed. In-charge duties as required. Job description is available upon request.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Other Education and Training

Perioperative Nursing/Registered Nurses - Advanced Certificate or equivalent
Nursing diploma is acceptable
Perioperative course is required

Other Information

Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives
Unqualified candidates must be willing to get the Perioperative Nursing training
