Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Perform general construction labour on residential and commercial restoration projects.
Assist with demolition, debris removal, and site preparation following water, fire, mould, and storm damage.
Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment.
Assist carpenters and skilled trades with framing, drywall, insulation, flooring, painting, and finish work.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OH&S regulations.
Set up and remove containment barriers and assist with restoration equipment as required.
Identify and report site hazards, damage, or safety concerns to supervisors.
Communicate professionally with supervisors, team members, subcontractors, and customers.
Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship.
Participate in emergency response work, which may require overtime, evenings, weekends, or on-call availability.

Qualifications

Construction or restoration experience is an asset but not required.
Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record.
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive manual labour.
Comfortable working in a variety of weather conditions and environments.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
