What this role is all about:

The Business Solutions Specialist (Temporary 18 months) is responsible for the operation and support enhancement testing and ongoing reliability of Beem Credit Unions digital banking platforms including online banking mobile banking digital onboarding and integrated payment systems.

This role acts as an application support subject matter expert for beam DB and its integration with DNA providing hands on troubleshooting vendor coordination testing support and technical input to ensure stable secure and intuitive digital the member experiences. The specialist works closely with internal teams and 3rd party vendors to identify root causes of issues support enhancements and break fix initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aligned with organizational priorities.

This role is a Temporary 18 month position that is open to hybrid working arrangements within British Columbia.

What you’ll do:

Application & Operational Support

  • Provide support for members facing an internal digital banking applications resolving issues independently.
  • Where possible and escalating to vendors when required analyze and troubleshoot member access transactional and system issues using beam DB back-office tools vary park logs and related system logics.
  • Identify trends and recurring issues contributing to root cause analysis and recommending break fix or enhancement opportunities support frontline staff member service center and internal teams who support central tickets.
  • Participate in incident triage out response vendor escalation validating fixes and reporting outcomes.

Testing Releases & Change Support

  • Execute UAT and regression testing and extend test scenarios as required.
  • Interpret vendor release notes and assess business impacts configure validates standard DNA and beam DB configuration changes.
  • Prepare change documentation include test results rollback consideration and communication inputs provide technical explanations and risk input at CAB.

Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Open and manage vendor tickets with central one Fiser, Verypark and others.
  • Facilitate vendor meetings including agenda setting and follow-ups.
  • Provide technical and business impact input into statements of work collaborate with IT operations member experience and business solution teams.

DNA/BeemDB SME Contributions

  • Support DNA field mapping API understanding and configuration review.
  • Act as me for being DB to DNA testing flows.
  • Review and approve Fiserv scripts for alignment with business risks.

Continuous improvement and knowledge sharing

  • Stay current on digital banking technologies and payment services.
  • Contribute to process improvements and documentation.
  • Support knowledge transfer and peer monitoring.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Participates as an active member of the Leadership Team by contributing to the corporate strategy development, adding value from a [business function] perspective while maintaining an enterprise-wide view.
  • Executes long term business plans considering complex internal and external factors including emerging requirements and organizational interdependencies.
  • Communicates department strategies and objectives, ensuring understanding and alignment with business and teams.
  • Builds a high performing and collaborative teams, ensuring the team is prioritizing effectively, managing their stakeholders, and leading their cross-functional agile teams.
  • Conducts ongoing training, coaching and feedback with employees through regular meetings and performance development.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, across the organization to ensure consistency and alignment with business and strategic objectives.
  • Maintains strong collaborative relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors to ensure the successful execution of initiatives.

What you'll bring:

Diploma or bachelor's degree in a related field.

3-4 years of experience in a credit union or financial institution.

Experience supporting digital banking or core banking applications equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Strong technical and professional skills.

-

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

-

Working knowledge of E transfers interacts OS and DNA front end systems.

Familiarity with API's jira CRM tools and system integration is an asset.

Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Compensation

Annual salary range:$59,900-$70,500
