Title: Microsoft 365 Developer

Location: (Remote)

Type: Contract

Position overview:

  • The Microsoft 365 Developer will be responsible for developing, enhancing, supporting, and modernizing Microsoft 365 solutions to improve business processes and operational efficiency.
  • This role will focus on designing and maintaining SharePoint Online solutions, Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and PowerShell automation while supporting production environments and collaborating with Product Owners to deliver scalable and user-friendly solutions.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and a passion for process automation, continuous improvement, and modern workplace technologies.

Position's General Duties and Tasks:

  • Develop, enhance, and modernize SharePoint Online solutions to support business needs and improve user experience.
  • Build and maintain Canvas or Model-driven Power Apps based on business requirements.
  • Design, develop, and optimize Power Automate workflows to automate business processes.
  • Create, maintain, and optimize PowerShell scripts for automation and administration tasks.
  • Develop and maintain solutions utilizing Microsoft Dataverse as part of the Power Platform ecosystem.
  • Provide production support by troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving issues affecting Microsoft 365 solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to modernize existing solutions through automation and Microsoft 365 best practices.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for SharePoint solutions, Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, PowerShell scripts, and system enhancements.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of Microsoft 365 solutions by recommending enhancements that increase efficiency, usability, and maintainability.
  • Support AI-driven modernization initiatives utilizing Microsoft Copilot Studio when applicable.
  • Follow established development standards, governance, and best practices across the Microsoft 365 platform.

Qualifications:

Must have Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience developing solutions using SharePoint Online.
  • 2+ years of experience developing Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas or Model-driven Apps).
  • 2+ years of experience designing and maintaining Power Automate workflows.
  • 2+ years of experience developing and maintaining PowerShell scripts for automation and administration.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dataverse.
  • Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) for SharePoint customization.
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting production Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Experience modernizing existing business solutions through Microsoft 365 technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation for implemented solutions.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio.
  • Basic knowledge of.NET development.
  • Basic knowledge of Python.
  • Experience implementing AI-powered automation solutions within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform best practices and governance.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field.
