Job Description:The Registered Nurse A is responsible to the Nursing Unit Manager or Director of Nursing. The Registered Nurse A is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the SHA. As a member of the Nursing department, the Registered Nurse A has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client centred care.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Licenses

Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
Nursing diploma is acceptable
